Mark Isham is in a great moment of his career. During 2011 he wrote 4 film scores, including the incredible compositions for “A Dolphin’s Tale” and “Warrior”, and closed the year by signing for the hit television series, “Once Upon A Time”. In 2012, while he continues composing music for the aforementioned series, Isham has finished the music for “Stolen”, marking his second collaboration with Simon West (“Con Air”, “Tomb Raider”) after working together in the last year remake of “The Mechanic”. This time it’s a heist film starring Nicolas Cage in the role of a former thief who only has a few hours to find her daughter, kidnapped and locked in the trunk of a typical New York taxi.
Isham has also another project for the 2012. It is a drama film called “The Lucky One”, directed by Scott Hicks (Shine) and starring Zack Efron (High School Musical 3). Te movie tells the story of a Marine who travels to North Carolina after returning from Iraq in search of an unknown woman who he believes it was his lucky charm during the war.
These are projects in which Isham will be working until summer 2012, but we are sure that after passing through the International Film Music Festival he will have new projects in the works.
